What do you think this would bring in todays market and why?

Thank you to all that have good information to help with this!

PCGS shows their value at $260 with 40 graded and four higher. My guess is $240 or so due to the older slab.

I wonder how many are in what slabs?

I have a January, 1999 PCGS Population Report on-hand, which was issued just three-months or so after the approximately October, 1998 switch from the OGH to the blue insert and it shows the 1953 Lincoln with a population of 8 in PR68RD and 3 in PR69RD. So, the PR68RD has gone up a bit over the years, but the PR69RD population (from three coins to four) hasn't really budged in the nearly 27-years since that report was published.

This leads me to believe the novelty of the OGH in that grade would be strong, but the likelihood of an upgrade to PR69RD would be tiny.

I have showed is to a person that worked as a grader for PCGS said it has a small very small chance to upgrade to a + but no way a PR69RD!
I currently have NO plans on selling it!!!!

Pretty coin with a hint of contrast.
I'd imagine that would have a value of $300.00 or so.
Looks spotless and with smooth red color.

Just this past September 14th, there was one in this same grade, also by PCGS (but not in an OGH) that sold on GC for a whopping $670 (including the 12.5% bp). The hammer was $595. Obviously two bidders really wanted that coin! My sense is if you consign your coin, you won’t get that much, but who knows?
