Your Thoughts on My Newly Acquired Lincoln Cent

jfriedm56jfriedm56 Posts: 2,539 ✭✭✭✭✭

This RED beauty shone like a beacon in the night, sitting in a dealer’s case. Has that look of “ looks like it was minted yesterday”. It amazes me to think that after over a hundred years it still retains its original color and skin. Your thoughts?

What's not to like. Unless the price was to high. He's a beauty!! Minus those small scratches! 😂 😉

P.S. On the slab, not the coin. 😉

Older holder too... not likely to "turn" after such a long time... nicely done!

And what would that number be for it to be too high, Tom? Just wondering what your thoughts are on this. Zack.

Beautiful. In my Lincoln collection, I tended to focus on woodgrained examples and never could quite go for the beauties suchas yours. Nice. Here's my 20 Lincoln.

Might be an upgrade candidate to MS66+RD, pretty coin!

I wouldn’t take a chance reholdering a coin like this though.

I would not advise anyone to take blazing red copper out of a slab that was holdered from 1998-2002 and have it regraded in the hope of getting a + upgrade.
