Low Pop. Lincoln added to my collection.

Found this lower population 1915-S Lincoln cent that I just added to my early Lincoln collection. Looks like CAC pop. Is 13 in 65RB with none higher.

Wow, nice! RB is my favorite designation on early cents.

Oh, now we’re friends? Need to polish quite a few of my PCGS holders to remove the scratches.

I know. I’ve seen you on many threads and never had a negative interaction with you. I was thinking if I sent you my holders to polish, I might never see them again. Looking forward to having more interactions in the near future. Feel free to PM me if you have any questions for me. Anyway, I was just busting balls. Zack.

Zack - Not only are you correct that there are only 13 1915-S 65RB’s, and no RB’s graded 66 with a CAC sticker, but also be aware there are 86 Lincoln 1915-S cents graded MS65RB (43 by PCGS and 43 by NGC)! At this price point, you’d think most have been sent in to CAC, yet yours is one of those 13 out of 86 that merit a CAC sticker!

    Congratulations! Enjoy!

@winesteven, thanks for the additional information about the total number of 1915-S in RB graded. For some strange reason I gravitate towards these lower pop. pieces and their scarcity. It’s great having all this information available when deciding on a purchase. Nothing like this existed when I first started collecting somewhat seriously 50 years ago. It’s nice to have 40 years of data history at your fingertips if you know where to look. Again thanks Steve for the additional info. Zack.
