Felt lost since I was getting closer and closer to completing my 1 reales....

Almost like a mid life crisis lollll!!! I figure I will get a few laughs and that is OK part of making bigger choices sometimes.

Changed my username AGAIN and will not collect US dimes (very little challenge makes it boring). I guess my life is meant to be with early milled Latin American coins.

I will expand to other denominations of early milled coins for Peru and Guatemala (2 & 4 reales). My 1 reales will still be my main priority (upgrading over time and getting the coins I still need).

Guess when we reach a cross road sometimes it is not easy to decide what road to take. I will stick with what I know. I would miss you guys anyways if I went into US dimes.

I’m gonna change mine to “American Frontier” (or whatever it was) just to really mess everyone up! 😂

I'm BACK!!! Used to be Billet7 on the old forum.

I agree I should have never changed my user name in the first place bad idea. What is done is done now. Did not think it was such a bad idea at first but seems I was wrong.

I apologize to the whole community here!!!

You don't have to change your name based on what you're collecting. And to have done it this many times is really just absurd and makes it difficult to take you seriously on any topic.

Pick a name and an avatar stick with it; that's how you're identified here. If your name is Joe your username can just be something like JoeLikesCoins or Joe1776. And if you decide to start collecting medals or tokens or ancient coins you don't need to change your name to JoeLikesTokens or JoeZeroBC.

    Just leave it alone.

I am leaving the Latin America side due to personal reasons (health and financial). Things happen in life. Did not want to talk about it but here we are talking about it. My health comes first not coins. I have been selling some coins but will be selling many more over the next while (my whole Latin American collection) to put my finances in order then start slowly US half dollars.

Sucks but life is not always the way we want....things happen like health issues and must be a priority.

But that is EXACTLY what you did by changing it yet again!!!

I wish you the best with your health issues but that does not change the absurdity of your repeated name changes. And it pre-dates your health issues by many months and occurred many times.

    Your "rationale" is ridiculous.

Like I said I have more important issues to deal with than a name change. I changed to have hope to be a collector in the future that is why I did it. It is for hope do you understand that?

I should probably let this go but since you want to engage on this and have engaged on the exact topic multiple times over many months...

    Frankly, no, I don't understand.

I understand that you say you assign some aspirational value to your username to help drive your collecting goals when you recover your health. You say that you have more important issues than a name change and then go on to explain how important this name change is to give you hope. Do you see how contradictory that is?

But I (and the other people who have made the exact commentary but are smarter than me and willing to give up) have tried to impress on you how important establishing your handle/username/identity to develop credibility and reputation. Your username is YOU on online message boards. You seemed to understand this last time when I said this exact same thing and you said:

A few regulars changed their names once,,,I don't think I've seen anyone else change their handle even twice..I think you are on number 6, maybe 7? It's hard to take you seriously if you repeatedly refuse to interact in the way that nearly every single other member of this board does

Again, I wish you the best with your health.
