No, none of the boxes got wrapped in fact I asked Steve to just trash them if they are no good. Didn’t need to ship back garbage

Did Steve wrap the boxes with the bad gum? Hopefully not. But curious if rules are adjusted for OPC due to the prevalence of gum issues.

I have opened BBCE-wrapped boxes which were gum destroyed. Ones which were not. Many great, Many bad, Many in-between.

it would be nice if BBCE put some kind of assessment on their wrapped stuff. Damage could occur after, be missed, or not even inspected on things such as sealed, or tape-intact. I have plenty of BBCE horror stories... If you think they inspect everything, well... I got an absolutely ruined box of 1980 Topps. The packs looked trashed in the box. They didn't have the right number of cards and they were just "ate up" during packaging. I've opened gum ruined stuff sure, but this was the wildest box I had ever seen. I emailed BBCE some pictures and was like... "tell me what I am looking at here?"... and Steve responded pretty promptly explaining that this happens but it's incredibly rare and they don't search the insides and here's why. I kind of left it at that. When someone asks me if BBCE is looking whether it's trash or not... I'm going to tell them that I don't think they do... But I don't know.

Actually Steve called personally and I said trash them. I opened another 88 case and same thing, the gum had destroyed everything maybe a card or two were OK OK per pack but ……
