DMPL's are hard enough to photograph, this TrueView certainly isn't very flattering. Based on my experience with the service and what others have said and posted it almost seems like those taking the pictures endeavor to present a coin's worst features. I have some coins at GC right now and I'm happy that their images will give bidders a balanced view of each coin. I was worried initially until I saw some of PA images.

Although they seem to have adressed the white balance issues I chronicled a couple years ago, recent true views are still disappointing. I have not seen any crappy photos in the PCGS magazine yet so I wonder if they outsource those 🤨

It's funny because the clashed areas that appear frosted are hardly noticeable in hand yet stick out like ghostly aberrations in the pics.
