I'm confused. Dealers may be happy and business maybe brisk but it looks like a ghost town.
How exactly is the video you showed and narrated a video of a packed bourse?

Its good if one had an account with Instagram 😉
I question why this video was even released just more fuel to the fire and proof of how the show is really like.
At least the show got # females in the younger demographic recorded lol. Scarsdale Coins have you committed or tbd @ 2026 show.
This is a classic example of how to not adapt and make changes thus no doubt bleeding red ink on tj is event.
Yes the show is packed will you be releasing an accurate attendence or some made up number with how many showed up.
Just a reminder—the room is over 100,000 square feet, and the show is spread out so no one feels crammed in. Dealers and attendees who’ve actually come are really enjoying it. The bonus? You get to be in Nashville, one of the best towns to explore and enjoy!
You can’t do video directly here but here are a few pics during set up hours before we opened. Just early birds and dealers

I was there on day 1. There was a small crowd waiting to get in, but it was a ghost town after 1pm. Though the show was closing at 6, dealers were packing around 4pm.
Nashville is a wonderful city and the convention center is great, so those aren't factors for the sparse attendance later in the day. We'll see what day 2 brings.

I'll be there at 11ish today. I've heard mixed things. Not expecting to find anything I need, but we'll see.
BHNC #248 … 140 and counting.
Thank you @ElmerFusterpuck and @Pnies20
I'm very curious about a realistic assessment of the show without the constant salesmanship and relentless puffery.

Not puffery. This is 125,000 sq ft room that we are spread out in. Pics speak for themselves. There are actual pics and the show is busy
Pics speak for themselves
Yes they do.

Pics are during day when it’s busy video was as show opened. Every person here is having fun and an enjoyable show.
Ok, so I went today and it was even worse than the negative reviews so far. Half the dealers skipped out yesterday and weren’t there today. We had a far better experience at the nearby home show. I doubt this show will survive but if they have it again, I won’t waste my time going.
What are you talking about?
Half of the dealer booths were empty, with their name tags hanging over the booth. Literally 50% occupancy if that.
I was there 11-12. Did they all show up after lunch?
John, we like you here and you’ve made meaningful contributions to the forum. I understand you were tasked with promoting this show, and you gave it a great effort, but I feel like this is not your cross to bear. Turnout was iffy in ‘23, as I’d expect with any inaugural show, but a leap year and then placement right in between ANA and GACC was a difficult position to prevail from.
I applaud your fortitude, but imo there’s no need to go down with captain(s) on a charter boat. Grab some belongings and hop on one of the lifeboats before the violins stop playing.

Not going down. It was a decent show
Ask the dealers when you see them in chicago
Especially a captain who is stubborn and refuses to accept and act upon feedback.
This could be a good show, but he needs to give some young people authority to run things and make decisions, something not in his temperament.
I didn't see this addressed. Why the 50% occupancy rate on what should have been the biggest retail day of the show?
And, keep in mind that some of the occupancy was GC, ANACS, SS Central America, etc., not actual retail dealers.
Those two girls leaving looked way more interesting than the show
