Morgan Sale on Whatnot tonight!

Following this seller and trying to support people with good product and honest bidding processes. Has lots of slabbed and raw uncirculated typically.

Sorry, I don't want to sign up for What not site.
Whatnot = a lot of counterfeit
Counterfeit holders
Counterfeit coins
Buyers beware
No recourse
Whatnot is popular but it is just like ebay, except you have almost 0% chance to recover your money from counterfeits.
I have zero interest in signing up for an account there. As has already been mentioned, there are a lot of counterfeits being sold on there.
No desire for whatnot whatsoever. I heard about the platform and said "what! not!"

BST has gone severely downhill. Bad enough sellers are promoting their ebay /gc auctions etc. here but now we got people promoting other peoples whatnoyt garbage. @PCGS_Moderator please put an end to this nonsense. THKS!
The whole worlds off its rocker, buy Gold™.

Wooooha! Did someone just say it's officially "TACO™" Tuesday????
.
Advertising an auction is one of the things that the BST forum is supposed to be for.
.
I think what might have gotten folks a little disturbed is the idea of starting a thread on the BST to advertise a whatnot auction that the OP had no relation to. In other words, the OP didn't own the coin, didn't consign the coin and had no interest in the coin, but still started a thread on the BST to advertise someone else who might not be on the PCGS boards at all. Just a guess on my part.

I could name plenty of ebay sellers that are fair to deal with. Would I? No, unless someone asked me.

The comments on this simple post is an excellent representation of everything that is wrong with the hobby. Fortunately, I am seeing younger less cynical curmudgeons entering the hobby. They aren't going to shows which often look like a nursing field trip that forgot to tell their attendees to wear deodorant. They're using online platforms and looking at the rating of the sellers to determine reputations.
I don't visit this site often because I can't stand the negativity. I do see some reason for optimism though. Lots of younger people entering the hobby due to interest in hard assets and the very cool bullion coins being produced outside of the US. I'm sure that Captain America or Coca Cola bottlecap coins bug the living sh*t out of the crowd here but thank goodness for What Not, eBay, and the Niue Islands. Otherwise you'd be only hear about coin collecting in the obituaries.
