Do you think either of these are DCAM? Or just enjoy a couple of nice Lincolns.
I think the '56 has a better shot but both are strong contenders IMO.
Yeah I know, grading proofs from images and all that... The pictures are pretty accurate.

Can't speak to how Polly will grade them but they are nice looking cents!
the memorial on that cent is immaculate
unsure about the 59, but the 56 looks good
I would say yes if I were the grader. Nowadays PCGS and NGC are give or take with DCAM. I can't say with certainty either will DCAM or CAM. @SanctionII might be able to speak to this. He has some amazing coins that I thought had a shot at DCAM, but they only CAM'd.

Then again, there's no harm in trying. Give it a shot and see! I'd love to see results. And heck, you might get lucky!

Both are nice. The 56 is wicked nice
Is it common to get cam grades on Lincoln cents? I know some types of coins rarely get that designation. James
Very nice coins, I see a CAM for the 56 and just miss on the 59. Hope I'm wrong and both DCAM.

Never a slave to one plastic brand will I ever be.
both coins are super nice looking

Very nice coins. The fields on both coins, as shown in the photos, are deeply mirrored with minimal flaws.
They both should receive at least a CAM designation.
Likely on the ‘56. Unlikely on the ‘59. They’re easy on the eyes. Both of them. My eyes, that is.

I'd say DCAM contender on the 56, 59 has a shot CAM. However - If you did not know it already your 1956 is DDO 7 as seen here varietyvista.com/01a%20LC%20Doubled%20Dies%20Vol%201/1956PDDO007.htm

Thanks, will be sending these out. Wanted to see what the general forum consensus was.
Hopefully Polly C. likes them!
It depends.. some years they are common, others not so much.
I did not realize that, thanks!

Those are very nice. I feel lighting and photography angles/methods can be deceptive on many frosted proof coins so hard to give an opinion.
No on the 1959 and decent shot on the 1956.

I'd say CAM '59, DCAM '56.
With that said, a coin from the 59's die pair is a PCGS DCAM, so it has a decent shot.
Both are nice. I see "CAM", not "DCAM", on both.
