Missing coins

Below are the three coins I mentioned in the other thread, lost by FedEX and now noted as such with NGC:

1766 Peru F-12
1769 Peru VF-30
1768 Peru XF-45

Serial #2936887

While I'm at it, I'm also missing a 1756 Peru 2R VF-XF. USPS claims it was addressed incorrectly so they redirected it from Georgia where it was supposed to be delivered to NY where it's either lost or just sitting there too. Checking with the sender on this one now.

I previously had one other package sent USPS registered mail lost for about one year and then it suddenly showed up,

    Sorry WCC those are some serious coins. Can you share images with us so we can keep an eye out for them.

    I believe your 1766 and 1769 are 1 reales and the 1768 2 reales correct?

    Yes, that's correct. Left it out of my first post.

    I don't have JPEG files of the other two and that's the only option to load it. The NGC images are available using the cert number.

    These are going to be tough for any thief to try and sell. Hopefully if they were stolen they (him/her) are dumb enough to try and sell them. And we can get justice in the end for you and hopefully the coins back to you as well.

    My bag of Canadian Cents that was stolen went through Memphis. I talked to a coin dealer recently who said he had heard that many shipments going through Memphis have been stolen.

    Any updates? Wishing you the best WCC!!! I check every day on all my regular daily sites (a few times per day)...I have yet to see any of your coins. Will continue my daily searches.

    I cannot see why any none collector would keep these coins. My guess is they will hit the market at some point (if they are lost or were stolen).

    No, not yet, though the USPS is looking for my 1756 Peru 2R, the other coin which went missing from a second shipment.

    FedEx presumably had it in their warehouse the entire time. It was sent back to NGC who then sent it back to me, with FedEx all over again.

    Maybe there is still hope Indiana Jones will find the Ark buried in that warehouse someday? :)

    Thanks, now I just need the USPS to find the Peru 1756 2R. No news on that yet.
