Brock Family Holdings

Has anyone heard of or purchased something from them? I saw a few coins that I wanted but have never heard of them before. Here is their website: https://www.brockfamilyholding.com/

Bad grammar, use of term "pennies", run on sentences, etc have me concerned about their professionalism. I am guessing they are legit, but the company is run by two younger brothers trying to start a coin business. Maybe shoot them an email. Click on the "terms & conditions" tab and scroll down to Accessibility.

I saw their bad grammar and that was what worried me so much. I guess I will try and reach out to them about the coins.

I cringe at bad grammar but rarely point it out, that said I am patiently waiting to reply somewhere with this cartoon (even though I dislike contractions)

I hope they fix or edit their terms, information, and word choices.

Based on the poor grammar, they're not ready for prime time.

And why "holding" instead of "holdings"? 🤔

Stride to make your purchase? The grammar alone would make them a hard pass!

Well, at least "bullion and gold will not be excepted for a refund". Since they're not excepted, I guess you'll be able to return bullion and gold.

At least they aren't expected for a refund.

I can't believe I am the first one to notice . . . . we are condemning the spelling and (above) 'grammer' ??????? The irony of someone tearing an unknown person/company up for lack of proofing . . . and then misspelling the actual definition of what they are complaining about, is, well . . . . . .awesome!

True, though one is a quick post on a message board while the other is one putting their supposedly best look forward as a profession, ignoring a task that is easy enough to proof automatically using free tools without being encumbered by the thought process.

I have too often found that a person/company doing business that skips on the easy small details is willing to skip on the big important ones also.

  • They have a Facebook page, for what it's worth. Camden, S.C. No posts, no followers.

    I'd have to agree.

A quick post here with an occassional typo is not the same as poor grammar on a business website.

In any case, poor spelling is separate from poor grammar, but both are a bad look on a website.

All they need to do is run the text through an LLM for proofing.

They could be the world's predefinite dealer if they were just a bit better with words.

But using the term “penny” isn’t a grammar issue. It’s a numismatic issue. There’s a difference.
