Topps Living HOF'ers still missing
I am a Cardinals team set collector. Part of my collection involves the Topps Lving set.
I have noticed they do a lot of rookies and a lot of modern veteran players and a lot of hometown hero type of players that were very good but are not Hall of Famers. And then they have cards of Hall of Famers. For the life of me I cannot figure out why Lou Brock has not been included yet?
For instance, this week they added Jason Kendall. Nice player, but not close to a HOF'er.
Willie McGee would be a nice Cardinals comparison. He is still very popular in Cardinals fandom. I don't think he has been included.
Are there any other obvious choices that you have noticed that have been left out so far?

Well... I'll be the first response to my own question...
Topps Living this week just added Gil Hodges. So, he was missing before this week.
As I was writing this, I realized that he is pictured as a Mets Manager. I could not find one with the Dodgers.

There's just too many to list.
Just some HOF Dodgers not included are Koufax, Drysdale, Snider, Sutton, Lasorda.
Really? Sandy Koufax has not been featured? That is a shame! Duke Snider? Now I don't feel so bad for Lou Brock!

For comparison, no McCovey and no Killebrew either, for around the year Brock was elected to the Hall.
And the old-timer all time greats, there's no Cy Young, Walter Johnson, Jimmie Foxx, Rogers Hornsby,....
So hopefully the artists will get around to Brock and these other guys, even if they think some of these guys won't sell well.
Not to mention some fan favorites. Being a Dodger fan of the 70s/80s, I think Sutton, Fernando, and the Penguin should get some recognition. So far, only Garvey has been represented from those great teams.
I did not realize that there were that many good ones not included yet. However, I must say that Rogers Hornsby has been included. It was earlier this year and #793. I have it because he is featured on the Cardinals.
Cy Young, Walter Johnson, and Jimmie Foxx is kind of stunning that they have left them out when they have included guys like Frank Viola and Johnny Mize (who is on the Cardinals, by the way!).

Oh, yeah, you're right. I didn't realize the checklist I was looking at wasn't updated.
I saw they added Fernando, too.
Lots of stars missing in favor of the modern nobodys.
Hopefully they'll get around to those who are deserving and actually accomplished something.
not to mention there are some retired players who have multiple cards...not sure what criteria Topps is using to select the players
I think the maximum is 3. And each multiple needs to be with a different team. For instance, Albert Pujols first one is with the Angel, then the Dodgers, and his last one is with the Cardinals. There are not many players with 3 in the set.
Trying to think of some.... Coming up blank.
