What's going on with her cheek?

I purchased a 1921 Morgan Dollar Roll, and came across this coin with something going on with her cheek. Is it possible that this is double struck? Thanks in advance!

    I am going to guess planchet defect.

    Planchet defect comes to mind as well.

    Put me down for planchet defect. Could also be a strike-thru. Curiously, someone showed me two Peace dollars at the ANA show with something similar across the eagle on the reverse.
