Bryant was a rapist: That, in my mind anyway, puts him down there with OJ.

    NO THANKS!!!!!!!!!!

Jordan was retired in 2007. Usually cards made after a player retires have very little value.

2 great players signing a card doesn't make it a 13 million dollar item.

I don't think it would be worth anywhere near that even if it were signed in 1996 when Kobe was a RC and Jordan won a championship.

People can pay whatever they want for stuff. People can also tell lies about what stuff is worth. I don't think either of those things is illegal. What's the most you can say something is worth and get people to believe you?

    Great day for our hobby.
Calling it now this will be cut up and someone is going to wear them as earnings by next year.
That is exactly what I would do If I had that kind of money.

That's silly. If I'm spending that kind of money on a card (and I'm not) I want the Mantle.

Honestly, if Mr Wonderful is getting into this space, I might run the other way. He's certainly done well for himself as an opportunist, but I see him as a "pump-and-dump" investor.

I bought them graded years ago and have held them. It was time to sell.

    Love that Clemente

Is $13M a lot? Sure, but it's not even 3% of the record $450M for the Salvator Mundi painting.

Now that is some money spent on a collectible!

I can see how some would compare a 2007 Upper Deck card signed by Bryant and Jordan to a renaissance painting by Da Vinci.

@UFFDAH I’m pretty sure those 2 Star Wars cards came from the shoebox my Mom disposed of while I was in college… I’ll contact the auction house directly and have them clear up this travesty.

PS Thanks for showing them here!! (Or, you know, I never would have known!!!)
