Because they did not make all 100K before today, and have already sold all that they have available to ship right now. So they are continuing to take orders, and disclosing that they don't have them available to ship today. THIS is what I said last year should have happened, but didn't, with the gold and silver FHs, if they weren't flat out lying about what the maximum mintages were going to be.
They knew they were never going to make the maximum published mintage BEFORE they went on sale, but did not disclose until AFTER the short mintage was sold out. Shady, but people were okay with it, because they failed to disclose on the downside rather than the upside. Opposite sides of the same coin to me.
Same basic demand as the Army. Call it whatever you want.
$200 now. Worth less 12 months from now, in my opinion.
So what? Who cares? $200 now is all that matters. You know this, so why argue?
YOU HAVE TO BE KIDDING!!!
YOU are the one who jumped in to argue with an opinion with which you agree. I'm NOT arguing with anyone. I stated an opinion and YOU decided that you should both agree and argue.
Please state for me who I'm allegedly arguing with and of what opinion I have taken an opposing viewpoint.
It is 100% YOU!

Right. An "opinion" that has no relevance to the point.
You think they'll be worth less than $200 this time next year. So what? Who asked?
The sarcastic question was whether you thought it was hot. Now. Not next year. And your answer was "Call it whatever you want," but it will be worth less in a year. Less than $200, or less than $105?
Call it what you want, arguing or not. Because all you're doing is defending a position that you took last month on another product what was objectively wrong then, and is objectively wrong now.
If it manifests in a year, after all the flippers have flipped, it won't make you right in retrospect now. So, you could say nothing. Or you could say, "yes, I was wrong about the Army privy, and these are HOT, because they are $200 now," without saying anything about next year, because next year is irrelevant to now.
There were a lot of dealers buying them for the 1st day label that ATS is doing, does anybody know if our hosts are doing something similar (I don't see it on the website, but for a one day special label, they often don't show it until the pop reports, well, pop).

Yes, he is guessing or speculating, then converting it into fact, as usual.
It could be something as simple as a packaging issue as well as a planchet issue, just to name two possibilities.
Next it'll be a conspiracy theory or shady shafting if it doesn't fit the narrative, like the FHG.
The Mint is in full production mode lately - kudos to the Mint.

No source. And not guessing. Observing. Laser privy went to Back Order today when they sold through what they initially made. Clearly short of the 100K maximum.
FH gold and silver did not. They sold less than the maximum mintage. In a few minutes for one, and in 24 hours plus a few minutes for the other.
They never went to Back Order. They went Unavailable, and then Sold Out. Even though they could have sold more.
Not a situation where they went Unavailable after weeks or months, and they had no time to make more. They went Unavailable almost immediately.
They didn't make the maximum mintage, and were never going to make the maximum mintage. They could have just disclosed that the true maximum mintage was a number lower than the published maximum mintage.
They chose not to. Because they can do whatever they want. Not because they are transparent.
Not a guess, and no source. Other than my own lyin' eyes.

Not guessing, and not speculating. Whatever it was, they knew it for the gold FH 5 minutes after they went on sale. So they knew it the day before. They did not disclose.
Same for the silver FH, since they seeded 50K with privies. Not the 75K maximum mintage advertised. They didn't make the extra 25K, and were never going to.
Fact. Packaging, planchets, sunspots. Or a conscious decision to short strike. Whatever it was, it was knowable, and known, before the on sale date, but not disclosed. Fact. Believe it or not. YMMV.

Good question. The Army privy was on tv about a month before it's release. I haven't seen anything for this one.
