The mint will not make the remaining coins available until the big boys have sold their grossly overpriced coins based on the assumed limited mintage. Don’t get taken in by the false hype. Buyer Beware !

That would take until next year though.
Based on other recent releases, I don't think they would have lifted the HHL if another run was coming. Although in the past I do believe the mint had 2 production runs for these gold high reliefs.

The bid on Pure is now up to $4450. 5 sold so far at lower prices. No offers.
Mine just shipped.
Bids and offers should be expected to be in flux until the dust settles and people see what the actual mintage is. The fact that the last two coins in the series currently retail for a significant premium to $4450, with a significantly higher mintage, with a similar, non-human, but still very attractive depiction of liberty, suggests the bid will be significantly north of $4450 once people realize what this is.
Unless, of course, the Mint shocks us all and throws another 4-5K on the website with no HHL. I'm not holding my breath.
I'm just thrilled that the ABPP received a full allocation based on the published maximum mintage of 12K. Nothing else really matters, does it? 😀
It's just the rest of us buying via the website that received a lower allocation after they chose to short strike these. Our job now is to just eagerly chase them in slabs at inflated prices.
Not to actually be treated fairly, or to be provided accurate information, in the spirit of full transparency, in advance of release. Because we don't really matter, even though there is ultimately no market at all without us.
I'm just glad that the Mint was totally fair with this release, with full transparency, and accurate info prior to release.
The Big's got their 1976 coins one week ago, and we got our orders in yesterday ✓...
Kudos Mint on another successful release!
I just can't pull the trigger yet on a second one.
The best way I know to sell these things is ebay. At my level I only get eighty percent of the final price. So unless they really appreciate , there would be no point in having more than one as I do want to keep one.

It IS a lot of money to tie up, and "really" appreciate is relative. Among other things, you also have risk tied to buying gold at all time highs.
That said, if you are a gold bug, and lots of things going on in the world and with the economy support being one, this has all the earmarks of a winner. Basically, the track record of the last two releases, plus the near certainty that the mintage on this one is going to come in around 7500-8000, as compared to 12K on the last two.
Yes, it's a risk. But a calculated one. If you are uncomfortable tying up $4300 on speculation, that is entirely reasonable as well.
I feel good to have nabbed the “first one” on the first day. After that, I would prefer a slabbed version, preferably from our host.
I really do prefer the presentation in a PCGS holder. The grade is not important to me.
I saw only 7 gold 25DA this AM and were gone in seconds, yesterday they dumped 30+ so more time as I did pick up a 2nd... but I did put one in my cart just in case

Gird your loins, gonna be a surprising number.
Go ahead, give it a guess!
Not really. 8K was the first ATS number published, way back when. I thought it was BS at the time, but now, in hindsight, I think it's the actual number they planned to make and sell all along. I'll bet the published number is going to be pretty close to it.
Just go back and look at the July 28th posts in this thread, before anyone knew what they would publish as the maximum mintage:

I wonder what their thought process was on that number? Maybe they expected poor demand for an expensive gold coin with a flower on it? Who knows what they are thinking these days.

Yup. Whatever it was, they were certainly entitled to make it. That said, there would be no reason for them to expect less demand for this than for the one with the horse or the tree.
What bothers me is the constant head fakes involving posted maximum mintages they have no intention to ever hit. Likely as nothing more than a justification to give an over allocation to ABPP.
If 8K turns out the be the final number, releasing less than 6K to the website is nothing short of obnoxious. And an insult to the retail buyers who, at the end of the day, create the entire market for these, assuming ABPP buyers aren't each buying hundreds to add to their personal collections.

The ATS number is never BS. It is the amount of inventory the mint chooses to make available on its website. As this number is a choice, it can never be wrong. Please stop conflating it with production numbers or inventory. It is neither.

Also a good bet that they are done making the gold. HHL removed.

Anything is possible at this point. Just spin the “Wheel of Fortune” and see what will be
they will add moar inventory after return window has closed for initial drop.
Well I do like the graphics the mint put up.
As much as I like gold, too bad the silver was not high relief. The silver tones seem to offer nicer contrasts. (subjective).

Mine shipped too. Should arrive Tuesday UPS 2 day delivery.
Mine arrives Monday
They’re available. Got another one.
me too. 73 loaded and gone in a minute.
Gone already!
A second one confirmed this AM ...
eBay is over $5000. I think $5000 is fair if 12,000 are minted. If only 6000, then this should be an $8000+ coin
Design is spectacular here
I was able to grab one this morning as well.
I am hoping you are right. I bought a couple FDOI NGC 70's for 5k hoping this one is a winner.
Congratulations guys

Anybody got any non-stock pics of the coin ?
