Anyone else bummed that the CAC bean on the Farouk $20 is just a tad crooked?

The CAC sticker is fine - it's the holder that's slightly tilted!

Are these illegal to privately own?

Not that one, and only that one.

    The LANGBOARDS LOST their lawsuit?

Pawn Stars is totally scripted. I tried to put a group together to try and buy that coin with the idea of approaching the Treasury and making them all legal. Went for too much for that idea to work out but it would have been interesting

Yep… One episode featured a “Magritte” painting that no one could have believed genuine, but it allowed Rick and Chumlee to enjoy - and I do mean enjoy… there were some fine-looking waffles featured in that episode - a “business” trip to Brussels to (not) authentic it. And we all got to enjoy 😁 the drama…

A bit OT now, but a few forum members, including myself, have shared stories about our experiences with the production of Pawn Stars. My segment never aired for some reason I'll never know, but I know a few others here have either been on the show (both as an expert and a walk-in seller) or had their coins featured on the show in the case of @dcarr.
