I believe it is a tiered charge based on the value of the card. '51 Mantle costing more than '61 Mays. I'd ballpark it around $3000 or so. Obviously, a play to increase value.... more power to you. Hope you hit 50% or better on the diamond reviews.
For 3K for a single sticker it should be made of real diamond or real gold - heck you can buy nearly an oz of gold for that amount.
It's the singer not the song - Peter Townshend (1972)
or grade 160 cards at PSA and hope for upcharges.
Price seems high personally. I mean if PSA/sgc or whichever fails on the guarantee does the diamond offer anything other than being shinny like a fake diamond.
It works for coins. I get it but man I havent seen the numbers and also dont trust the numbers at this point in the game. Bid up your own cards and act like its a world record. Not there first rodeo. MBA will make money Im sure of it.
IM also curious how they would handle the t206 psa 8 Wagner.

Just spit balling based on like 1% of perceived value. Let mintonly comment on how much it will actually cost for the reviews, Personally, I would never do it but can respect the choice. It's an investment and gamble at the same time. Is the reward worth the risk? Are there buyers willing to pay 10-30% more for a stickered card? Who knows, time will tell. As usual, it's all about the money...... in an unregulated industry.
If you take a good look at the list you should realize that having this kind of evaluation done to a card collection isn't for the Average Joe. Just like not too many people own an island. Or an empire. The collection, as it's presented to us - just a group of strangers on the internet - definitely deserves to be brought to its greatest heights financially. MBA seems like one of the best ways to accomplish that. There would be a lot of upside potential in a 3K investment, or whatever it is.
I left a message asking for an in-hand diamond certification cost for the 36-card candidates…waiting for a call back. There is a West Coast show that MBA is attending….so I might not hear back until early next week,

While I’m not a fan of this scheme, it would almost assuredly lift the value of the cards by greater than 3k. Collectors are sheep.

Farewell Ryno.
I was under impression the 53 Mantle sticker charge was estimated at 3k thus my comment.
Is it actually a 3k in total estimate for stickers on the full list of cards ?
