How long till the Mint does a colorized version of their comic book coins? At that point they have officially jumped the shark, but I'm not sure this has not already happened.

I’m not into to the super hero coins, but if I had to chose one it would be the wonder woman gold. on the obverse she has flowing hair and I like that the mirror finish will be every other stripe. she has a better facial expression. and the mirror finish on the reverse around earth will give it an outer space perspective. like looking at earth from the moon lol.

It's Bat Affleck

I liked the Robert Pattinson Batman movie, felt very noir.
I guess the studio told him to do steroids for the role and he said no.
It didn't seem to go over well with most people.

These two coins have basically the same pose. Right knee bent, arms out, facing right...
They all have positive sentiments too...Hope & Strength, Justice & Courage, and Peace & Equality.
What will the future Comic Coins bring? Honor & Respect, Love & Care, Speed & Knowledge...Power & Transparency?

Superman design was better. IMHO
The eagle makes Batman too busy

Recommended design line art for gold Batman and Wonder Woman coins..
When I look at these...
I feel like I'm in a tourist trap
I actually like 'em. Too bad they are DOA because the Mint totally misjudged the market when determining how to price them.
Upscaled a bit for some more detail.......

If a Wonder Women coin is allowed to have doves, shouldn’t a Batman coin be with a robin instead of an eagle?

😉

The Wonder Woman reverse looks awfully flat.
From Mint Website today.............
Why is wonder woman attacking those birds?
Are they the latest threat?
Gack!
The Third World has two new coins.
Hitchcock thought so...

Why gold? Are all Batman and Wonder Woman fans wealthy?
I didn’t know wonder woman could fly so high above the Earth she’s like Superman.
Awful coins at ridiculous prices. Your mileage may vary.

Let's see what kind of mintages and prices they put on these masterpieces....
U.S. Mint medal images..................
$135 for an oz of silver is pretty steep

The Canadian cartoon coins are part of the reason I stopped collecting the modern stuff. These are no different, IMHO.

It's no mystery. It will be the exact same pricing and mintage as Superman.
Maybe next year they reassess, but the three for this year are already locked in. No turning back now.

The Bat Signal just does not work in monotone. It needs contrast.

That Wonder Woman coin is a hotty. I kind of like it, well the obverse. Decades ago they only gave us ugly Spouses (well with a few exceptions).
Never mind.
Lasso of truth time...
The fonts on these coins should have been comic sans.
I really thought you were kidding!!! Comic Sans?
