    Absolutely wonderful $50. Humbert “slug”. I can remember a dealer that I had done business with in the ‘80’s, putting a raw example into my hands to see my reaction. And what do you think that was? Overwhelming! Congrats, it’s a beauty! Zack.

    Is a half dime a different denomination than a nickel? Different metal and size. Does that mean a Sacagawea is a different denomination than a Morgan? I would think they are the same denomination. Thus, a half dime is not an obsolete denomination.

    I had the same thought when I saw that $50 gold slug since the AGEs currently being produced are also $50 gold coins, but I didn't want to split hairs since we have already a couple of others here who are quite adept at splitting hairs. Also, I like looking at pics of cool coins even though I can't afford many of them.
