Would like someone’s opinion on this quarter.

I have looked into some error coins, but I haven’t seen anything like this. Just wondering if it is anything.

    It's damage.
Impact from a pointed object raised some metal around the leading edges of the impact point.

Post mint damage, value 25 cents 😉

Respectfully. 99.999% of all anomalies are damage. You should not look at coins and try to decide if the anomaly is an error. Study actual error coins and you will see the very few ways that legitimate errors can arise.

    See error-ref.com

You can also search auction archives for authenticated errors.

It’s easier to watch a couple of youtube videos
And that is why you are posting worthless coins.
YouTube and AI are a full of misinformation and a poor choice to learn anything about numismatics
Your not going to learn everything at once, in fact I don’t think that there is anyone who knows
everything about coins. If you learn something different everyday , then you will eventually have a
fairly good knowledge of coins. Even by reading previous posts, you can gain some knowledge.

That sounds like a lot of work. It's easier to watch a couple of youtube videos.

It's even easier not to watch any YouTube videos and just read the headlines. The "200 million dollar bicentennial quarter" is open warfare on the local BM store.

To be fair, the OP never mentioned YouTube videos. You are quoting someone else and ascribing it to the OP. (Unless you are actually accusing @Morgan White of posting worthless coins. But he's the worthless meme guy. )

The OP did not post the comment. The member who did has over 9,000 posts and most likely was making a joke.

Coin star: value 24.9c but on eBay: $1000 for the rare sword wound on head error.

Your local bank should be able to exchange it free of charge for an undamaged one, I'm not sure what they'll then do with it. Also your local postmaster will sometimes exchange damaged or unusable stamps for good ones.

I've got a $2 educational note here that was turned in to the bank. It's still stapled to the bank form showing they only paid $1 because only half the note is there. Lol
