A jewelry store dealer I know , had a guy walk in out of the blue with 3 1909-s VDB Lincoln cents, he has no clue about coins, but he sent me pics of them. I told him they looked ok, and pretty nice, but be careful, the chances of that are pretty slim that its legit. Well, I went a looked at them and they were all UNC's, i tried to buy them all from him on spot and offered him like 1900 a piece as they were, (he only paid 1k or so for all three (what a scumwad) . He had me submit them and they came back
