Two original Cheerios PAPER Dollars!

Apparently in 1985 Cheerios placed a cellophane wrapped dollar bill in (some? all?) Cheerios boxes. Because of the incredibly boring and generic packaging I don't see them as collectibles. However, the corporate memory of this at General Mills might POSSIBLY have inspired the 1999/2000 Dollar Coin promotion.

Good point and very likely. It's too bad that the packaging isn't marked General Mills/Cheerios.
Some additional information, if accurate. The serial number on this bill isn't close to what the eBay seller has in his description.

needs the special packaging to be worth more than a dollar to me. i'd advise someone dying to have them to pay $3 to tops $4
