    At today's $38.57 spot price of silver, my 1964 D quarter coin star finds has a melt value of $6,97.

    Not bad for the time and effort to snatch and grab from the Coin Star reject slot.

    My Coinstar finds of anything at all have been few and far between this year. However, I did find a silver dime about a month ago.

    All glory is fleeting.
