A man was driving down a peaceful country road when he suddenly lost control of his car and ended up in a ditch. Frustrated but unharmed, he walked to a nearby farmhouse to ask for help.
The farmer listened to his story, nodded, and said, “Don’t worry, I’ll get you out.” He grabbed a rope and led his old horse to the scene.
At the ditch, the farmer tied the rope to the car and stood beside his horse. “Pull, Zoomer, pull!” he called out, but the horse didn’t move.
“Pull, Radar, pull!” the farmer shouted, but the horse still stood still.
“Pull, Dasher, pull!” the farmer yelled, yet the horse didn’t budge.
Finally, the farmer called out, “Pull, Dusty, pull!” At this, the horse leaned into the harness and effortlessly dragged the car out of the ditch.
The man was stunned. “Why did you call your horse by different names?” he asked.
The farmer chuckled. “Dusty’s blind,” he said. “If he thought he was pulling alone, he wouldn’t have tried.”
A toddler was giving her daddy a tea party. She brought him a little cup of "tea" which was just water, of course.
After several cups of tea, her mom came home. Dad made her wait in the living room to watch his little Princess bring him a cup of tea, because it was, "Just the cutest thing!"
Mom waited, and sure enough, here she comes down the hall with a cup of tea for Daddy.
She watches him drink it up and then says, "You know the only place she can reach water is the toilet!”
