They're gonna need Asta, Rin Tin Tin and Lassie to solve this conundrum. Maybe Scooby do too!

Plus Inspector Clouseau and Oh, just one more thing Columbo.

    .

    We need McGarrett.

    "Book 'em Danno !"

    .

All the classic detectives should be on all these cases; Kojak, Jim Rockford, Frank Cannon, Sam Spade, even Sherlock Holmes should be on the case....

    What about Angie Dickinson? 🙂

    Hypothetical scenario:
Party A gives Party B $15 million to buy gold.
    Gold arrives.
Party A colludes with Party C to pick up gold using insider knowledge.
    Party C picks up gold.
Party A shows at Party B with receipts for $15 million and says “Where’s my gold?”

The gold that Party C picked up was "free", while the replacement gold that Party A eventually gets was paid for.

Party A ends up with a double pile of gold, but they paid for one of them. Unless the paid-for pile is considered a "score" then it is one purchase and one score.

I guess there are different meanings for the word "score." If you go down to your friendly neighborhood pot dealer and "score" a nickel bag of grass you get one bag of grass but you pay for it. If he is in a good mood and gives you a free one you "score" a second bag. Two "scores," one payment.

Some crimes are never solved. They are still looking for the Dupont inverted Jenny.

Wrote a couple of the media in OKC and no response. Surprised no information besides that release in almost a month.

Yes, it’s odd. Nothing on the news services or social media. And it’s hard to keep something like that secret. So still assume it was fake news.

It's not at all hard to keep that secret. Only the victims and perps know. If the investigation is private or federal, it won't appear on a police blotter.

Being a natural skeptic, I require more evidence than a social media post.

It is NOT a social media post. You might look into NCIC and what they do. There whole operation assists collectors and law enforcement with thefts.

It is NOT NOT NOT a social media post. They are highly credible.

Yes, the NCIC is legitimate. But at present, news about the theft only appears on this forum, which is social media.
