Have any extra leaf varieties of the 2004-D Wisconsin quarter been found in Mint issued rolls?

Everything I've read indicates the variety has been found from coins in circulation or from Bank Wrapped Rolls. Has anyone ever found one in a roll purchased from the US Mint?

It would be nice to know the history of the high and low leaf's. I'm sure there's something out there on when, where and how they were first found. Most likely, there are some high/low leaf go-to guys out here somewhere that know.

I have one of each but never bothered to dig into it's history.

Surely someone here has found one of these Wisconsin varieties. Or maybe those who have don't want to share their knowledge.

We need to find this guy..

The 2004-D Wisconsin High/Low Leaf quarter is a variety of the 2004 Wisconsin state quarter, part of the 50 State Quarters Program, known for a dramatic error: an extra leaf on the corn stalk design. This error, discovered in late 2004 by Robert Ford, exists in two distinct varieties: the "Extra Leaf High" and the "Extra Leaf Low". These varieties resulted from deliberate alterations to the die used for striking the coins, making them highly sought after by collectors.

Probably not. The mint rolls are the exact same as a roll from the bank, if there was one they would have been found already. They are from one or two of the ballistic bags, so they are going to be from just a group of dies. I had a friend who was a fed coin distributer and hew knew the guy that did the rolls is the reason I know that tidbit.

Sounds improbable from this 2014 post by @EagleEye who was invovled from near the beginning.

Lots of info about when and where they were found and what happened. Appears they were created late in the year.

Nice read WinLoseWin. Thanks for the link.

Although I have searched those found in circulation (in Texas), bank wrapped rolls and Mint rolls, I have not found any of the 2004 Wisconsin varieties. Considering that PCGS has certified about 8,500 of the Wisconsin variety compared to roughly 1,600 "Extra V" Lincoln Cent (comparable value) I thought I would have found one by now. I just hadn’t heard anyone say if they were more prominent in the bank wrapped rolls compared to the Mint rolls.

Very interesting, especially going back and reading that 2014 thread.
