@lordmarcovan, please allow other posters’ threads some additional room on the first page here…

I have no doubt that your abundance of recent threads is well intentioned, enjoyable to some forum members and certainly not against forum rules. And I’ll probably be criticized for making this request.
If so, that’s something I’ll accept and won’t post further to this thread.

Thank you Mark. I agree with you. It has become difficult to find anything recent on the forum other than these posts.
Well intended, reasonably enjoyable, but certainly not a pattern I'd like to see continued en masse. Nothing personal to Rob.
And I was just going to start a thread, "Here is my Altered and Damaged Low Grade PCGS 1929 Buffalo nickel. Post yours" ...

I like them, but then again I’m just here for the pictures of coins. I get bored too easily with the threads that turn into endless debates that don’t have coin pictures in them.
Mr_Spud
I can agree with you...to a point...

This has gone from amusing to peculiar to downright strange.
Smitten with DBLCs.
I’ll pause for a few days. Sorry.
I was wondering what was going on. I thought it was some type of an event.

Rob- you have nothing to apologize for.
We appreciate your threads and posts (over 43,000) and your recent threads bring a welcome and refreshing addition to the forum.
Hmmmm….I see what you mean. But I’d also like to point out that it’s because the posts are popular that they continue to get bumped to the top by other forum members and not by lordmarcovan.
Mr_Spud
@lordmarcovan: keep doing your thing. It's positive input to a coin forum vs nitpicking the efforts or opinions of others. Bravo!

Yes. After the first complaint, I limited myself to only three threads at a time, and spaced them out, but as the older ones got replied to they rose to the top.
So yeah, a bit much, maybe.
I agree again, as I have posted on the $2.5 Lib, and the $.25 post(my post was a joke on that one).
I also agree with @MFeld - too many all at once...
Does anyone else see the irony here? There are now three separate threads asking LordM to refrain from posting so many threads.

Hey I am just happy to see Rob around these parts again! He is a true numismatist and glad to have him around.

As a closet type collector, I have enjoyed Rob's threads and posted some of my coins. Glad to see these threads.

I have to say though that I have enjoyed each and every one of the threads.
Some excellent coins posted in them.
You don't have any control over the replies, that's entirely in the "other people" department. If anything the continuing replies and bumping are testament to the quality content of the threads. I enjoy them a lot more than threads that turn into arguments and forum stature contests.
Same here. Sometimes it's better to meter out your content than to deluge the forum all at once.
Not to mention, there are already threads for "post your xyz" that have now been duplicated.

It's a shame I am stuck in jail and part of the punishment is: "cannot start new threads". I believe it is possible that his account has been hijacked. Hopefully the madness is resolved come Monday. THKS!
I’m just adding to Feld’s thread.

Another ridiculous comment. Maybe they will lengthen your jail sentence.
What a tragedy that people are posting amazing coins and pushing the parking lot finds, lost package and CAC threads to the bottom. /s
@lordmarcovan - I love your eye for quality. I find your collecting inspiring for a number of reasons and I’ve learned a considerable amount from your posts over the years. Cheers!
Well I don't appear to be the only one here that thinks it's out of control. Maybe so, maybe not. It seems to depend on how much money is spent with the host. What is fine for some is certainly not fine for many others. RGDS!
We could always liken the multiple posts as a form of "cramming for our exams". Can never have enough knowledge. If it is too much at once just spread out the opening of each of the threads so one does not feel overwhelmed . Save some for the dead zones that appear here once in a while.
Let's also not forget that the LordM also creates numismatic material in the form of his numerous elongated coin issues.
I have a special place in my heart for those who create numismatic items that are collected by other people.

Lordmarcovan was previously big time in the different forum in the “searching for coins” and it was fun to hear his stories about searching in the ground for old coins. I consider Lordmarcovan a wonderful asset to this website. I once even visited lordmarcovan and stayed overnight at his place in GA. A class act.
Mark Feld was being careful not to diss Lordmarcovan but probably did not realize that Lordmarcovan was not the one to put his threads all at the top.
I like Mark Feld as well very much.
That's great but I think the point was maybe can we have 1 or 2 threads, not the entire front page of the forum look at my "*". Its commin cents. THKS!
I’m in the ‘Keep On Posting As Much As You’d Like!’ camp. All coins, great pics. Most posts have generated many comments/likes/pics.
Plus LordM is a legend and has earned the right to go ballistic once in a blue moon.
Carry on LordM, carry on. 🤘🏻😎
I love me some @lordmarcovan ! A great, longtime forum member who is a brilliant writer and storyteller. But I think we can all agree the "Here's my..." this and that threads are getting way out of hand. If this was a new forum member or @lordmarcovan himself under a different username that user would be absolutely roasted and told to consolidate his threads.
Absolutely no disrespect to our friend, Rob. He is indeed a legend here, and we want him posting often. I just think separate threads like that clog the forum with not much substance except adding a picture of a similar coin.

I think it is great that Lordmarcovan can post often but starting numerous new threads is another matter. He already stated that he would limit himself to three new threads per day which is fine.
Bottom line, Lordmarcovan will tire of posting often anyway as he had done before.
I do generally agree with you Mark, but my opinion was Lord was trying to reinvigorate the forum and participation in more value add threads.
While I can understand a bit of annoyance by some, calling the approach strange by @Aotearoa is out of line.
Well intentioned.
20 posts on the 1st page at the same time,,,,, maybe The Lord was smoking something?
@lordmarcovan . feel free to come on over to MYCOLLECT and post away. I have been posting there for about a month now. As far as I can tell, I account for 90% of the posts over there and that includes all posts by MYCOLLECT robots. James
If people post to a thread NOT from today, it gets brought to the top - you know that
at least there is new content +++
Agree 100%.
In addition to that, the many Here’s my… threads are:
educational at times, purely numismatic, represent fresh content, positive theme, far superior to threads beating dead horses over privy marks/US Mint HHL hurdles/US Mint premiums/general Mint speculation/the end of the cent speculation, and the best part is that the Here’s my threads do not leave room within them for complaints, criticism of companies, or drawing attention to negative aspects of our hobby.
Viva LordMarcovan and his colorful personality!

I understand where Mark is coming from but on the other hand it’s refreshing to see a lot of new posts with a lot of follow ups.
A thread on a coin forum criticizing posts about coins, go figure.

One very nice thing about Lordmarcovan's posts is that it coaxes out some of winesteven's face melting coins that I can dream about.
Agreed here. The new threads were nice for a while but I'd prefer to see others. No offense to @lordmarcovan; I thoroughly enjoyed all of them.
God comes first in everything I do. I’m dedicated to serving Him with my whole life. Coin collecting is just a hobby—but even in that, I seek to honor Him. ✝️
I also agree. Also we need to have some respect. Marcovan is Lord.
Long live @lordmarcovan.
