sgc looks better, but beckett is far more sturdy.

SGC and PSA have the best looking labels. Its just too bad PSA slabs are cheap plastic. Nobody beats the beckett slabs.

What do you think of TAG slabs?

I really like BGS slabs. To me, the best looking and offer the most protection

George Brett, Roger Clemens and Tommy Brady.

I like CSG. The plastic they use is the best for seeing the card. Having said that I only have 2 CSG cards

    BGS for autos
    SGC for vintage
    PSA for modern

None of the above. Sorry, but I just can't live any longer without being able to touch and feel the crispness of a fresh raw card. Long time from now, to be sure, somebody will have slabbed most of my beauties and I'll be too dead to care. They started as puppies, thus how they shall finish in my lifetime.

    Farewell Ryno.

That post is violation of forum rules. Report/Flag it folks, lest this site become nothing more than cheap advertising postings

P.S. Dont quote the post as that wont sow in the flag/report.

Everything looks better in a Zion case though.

Went to a local comic/card shop out of town where we were discussing card holders.
He is an authorized CGC dealer and was showing me the new holders with the JSA labeling on them.
They feel ok and the plastic is really clear.

Then he showed me this, that I had to take a pic.
CGC put a micro comic into a their full size comic holder.
Hard to see scale but the comic is 1.3"x2" in a holder that is I think around 8"x13"x.75" thick. LOL

man oh man that totally looks like POOP

buy would look nice in a standard PSA or sgc card slab

The dealer also assumed they would put the micro comic in their CGC standard card holder.
Just goes to show card and comics are separate divisions within the same company.

I had this conversation with PSA about a larger card, and whether it would fit into their new comic/magazine holder and they responded:
"For this item, an Assembly Manager made the determination that we could not encapsulate this item [in our oversize card holder] due to the potential risk involved. Also, due to comic and magazine encapsulations being formatted differently from card encapsulations, they would not use them in this instance."

PCGS recently made accommodations to encapsulate a foreign bank note that measured 8.5"x14".
Hard to tell if the holder is a rigid case, but it will not be available for PSA items.
