RIP Forum Member - VanHalen

Hi CU,
It's been a few weeks now and I thought I would share that fellow CU member and my brother, Brad, has passed away. Brad was a huge coin enthusiast and spent many enjoyable hours perusing this and other forums. We were planning a guy's trip to the ANA show next month in Oklahoma City and Brad had his shopping list ready.
I don't have the words to express what kind of a person Brad was so I will let this post share his story for me:
Will miss you always, Brad.

Very sorry for your loss. I read the Facebook post and he sounded like a man who lived life to the fullest and knew how to spread love and support to those in need.
His struggles became his strength and it sounds like he learned so much during his time here on Earth.
God bless you and your family. 😎
Sorry for your lose...RIP.
Condolences to you and your family. Lost my brother 10 months ago.
Very sorry for your loss
So terribly sorry, I have a brother and sister and we are at the age that we try to spend as much time together as possible, for one day we too will only have our memories. I feel your love will give you so many memories that, I hope, will comfort you as will our Lord. Take care

My condolences as well 🙏
Terrible news, I'm sorry. He & I shared a few extra pm's back & forth over BST deals in the past and I could tell he was a good dude.

Very sorry for your loss. Brad was the youngest in our family and he took a piece of us all when he left.

I am so very sorry to hear about Brads passing, Tim.
We exchanged some silver bullion back in my stacking days. He was a class act.
RIP

Tim, I’m sorry I won’t be able to meet Brad at the show. I’ll certainly be thinking of him when I see you.

Very sorry to hear. I did several gold transactions with him back at the beginning of the year. Always very pleasant to deal with. This just sucks. RIP

I’m so sorry to hear this. I’m still pretty new around here (joined in December 2024) but I got to know Brad a bit through private messages and bantering about coins on the forum. He was always incredibly kind, encouraging, and generous with his knowledge. Even in a short time, it was easy to see how much he loved the hobby and the community here.
My heart goes out to Tim and all of Brad’s family and friends. He’ll definitely be missed.
God comes first in everything I do. I’m dedicated to serving Him with my whole life. Coin collecting is just a hobby—but even in that, I seek to honor Him. ✝️
My prayers with you during this difficult time.
Thanks to all for the kind comments and shared experiences with Brad. He was a special human being.
Memories are now sustaining us. For his 60th birthday last year, we invited Brad to California. We took a road trip to attend a coin show in Reno, then a stop at the Carson City Mint and a drive home through Lake Tahoe. Those hours in the car are now even more meaningful than I could have imagined at the time.

Damn, this sucks. Though I never directly interacted with him, he was was a positive force on this forum. You just never know when someone's time comes, so the memories you collected are far more valuable than the coins you have in your collection.
RIP.

I'm saddened to read this. He sounds like he was a very special, caring person. This must have been a terrible shock to you and your family! My condolences for your profound loss.
I was hoping to cross paths with Brad up in Dubuque sometime. RIP.
I knew it would happen.
Sorry for your loss. Glad you took the road trip last year and have great memories.
