Threw in the anchor the next day with a 4 over. Bogeys 3 of first 4 holes. Finished 1 stroke back for top 20. Had a few of those missing top 20 bets by 1, but never from first on a Saturday to out the final day.

i saw that collapse and felt a sharp pain my side. golf itself is a very rough sport, and so are bets that last 72 holes. lots of time for bad things to happen. the only guy you can feel comfortable placing money on knowing what the outcome will ultimately be is Scheffler. he's been consistently dominant, a la Tiger in his prime. but his odds are so unattractive that i have a hard time finding a spot to drop on him. i keep telling myself to bet 100$ on him to win every tournament he enters. if i had done that two years ago and stuck to it, i'd be breathing some rather profitable air.
i'd argue that one hole can not only wreck a bet, but it can have also have an adverse effect on an entire career. i still haven't gotten over Jordan's fiasco at #12 in the 2016 Masters..........and honestly i don't think he has either.
