What’s the WORST looking depiction of Liberty on a regular issue US Coin?

Another comment in another thread got me thinking about this. The first one I thought of was some of those heads on the Cal. Fractionals, but do they even count? Still, IMO it has to be one of these:
Of course, there’s always “Lady Liberty, in a fright”:

JMHO, but I tend not to care for the "artistry" of the earliest coinage, though I figure that can be explained away by the fact that the Mint was in its infancy and in a hurry to get coins produced. After that the Large Cents have always struck me as lacking.

The California fractionals are so ugly and primitive looking that I actually like them.
CA Fractionals aren’t regular issue coins so clearly, they wouldn’t count in answer to “What’s the WORST looking depiction of Liberty on a regular issue US Coin?”.

To me it's this one. Kinda dumpy.

When I was younger, I didn’t like the Morgan dollar with her great, big, fat cheeks and neck. Now, that I’m older, I appreciate the design more.

The Liberty dude on the Barber series is clearly the worst!
Smitten with DBLCs.
I’m going with low grade liberty seated dollars when she starts looking like Ben Franklin in a dress.
But oh what a coin.
I’ll take that dumpy ol’ thing off yer hands!

I would agree that the very early Flowing Hair Large Cents are one of the poorest depictions of liberty. I don't think it is surprising that some of the guide books say the image was rejected within a few months of issue. Might come off as sour grapes because i'm sure their expensive but I would have to like something to pay up for it. james
