2.1 (the older one) with the foil inside the shell.

The 2.1 is more rare, but only just a bit more.

according to the oldslabholders website the 2.1 was only produced for about a week vs a month for the 2.0
I'd guess the 2.1 is more rare and more valuable
I like to make this a bit easier for all of us.

i think so

Yes. You can see shadows on some of the lettering.

Thanks for everyone's input. I just confirmed that the pic I posted is indeed a 2.0. I had never seen the shadow pics before! That is a very nice tip! Thanks Braddick!
In some ways a nice 2.0 is harder to come by than a 2.1. The rev foil was very easily damaged on the 2.0 as it was outside the slab shell where the foil was protected inside the slab of the 2.1.

The 2.0 has the same reverse as the 3.0. Gold embossed on the exterior of the holder.
The 2.0 can be differentiated from the 3.0 by the obverse labeling.

Can you show a side by side comparison of the 2 front labels? Thanks Zack.

Left is 2.0; right is 3.0.

Edited to quote the post to which I was responding.
Edit #2 - Based on the 'album' at the bottom of the linked page, the numbering is based on Conder101.
@MetroD, thanks for the side by side. I unfortunately have no white early label NGC.
The NGC 2.0 slab with the gold foil logo on the reverse side and the all -white label on the obverse side was reported as the second NGC slab right after the black NGC slab 1.0 by Conder101.
I noticed that there were two kinds of NGC 2.0 slabs one with an earlier version of the reverse side gold foil on the inside on the outer plastic shell and the other with a newer version of the reverse side gold foil on the outside of the plastic shell. It had long been speculated that the change was made to enhance the security of the NGC slab back in 1987. Not accepting the written history, I went to John Albanese, the founder of NGC, to find out his recollection as to the real history behind the change in the slab.
At first he did not even remember that the white label NGC 2.0 NGC slab had been updated then suddenly remembered the two versions of the NGC 2.0 white label slab when I showed him the two versions of the NGC 2.0 slab. The earlier version had to be called the NGC 2.1 as it was numbered AFTER the NGC 2.0 slab even though the numbering should have been reversed.
The NGC 2.1 slab was initially much rarer than the NGC 2.0 as much fewer were produced than the later NGC 2.0 but was saved more aggressively equalizing the remaining quantities of each version.
