Wow did this thread take a downward spiral. All that was needed in the beginning of post was a 'my bad, posted the wrong photo and didn't realize a coins rims were also a critical component of grading'.

I think he's solely focused on the ear and hair which is the weakest part of the 94-O. If you look at the posted photograde pictures of VG8 and VG10 coins, that area is weaker than a 10. However, the rest of the coin is stronger than an 8.
The other coin is virtually the reverse with hair stronger than a 6 but the rest of the coin too weak to be an 8.

Minnows and muskellunge are some of the hardest to grade, but I can say that none of the fish look cleaned to me.
