Rarity-6-1795 Cohen2-b Half Cent

Here is another Very Rare (30 estimated to exist by Ed Fuhrman in his hand book ) Half Cent for the "Rare But Not Very Pretty " collection.
Although a lot of the pole and most of the comma like defect in the date are worn away by corrosion, enough of those diagnostics and other features remain to make a positive ID of the Cohen 2 variety,
It weighs in at 85.8 grains (a thin planchet) making it the very rare 2-b sub variety!
And with only approximately 30 to select from, on the entire planet, one cannot be too picky in my view.

Here is another picture of the obverse that brings out the remaining pole piece and comma defect bits a little more, Jon

    Cool coin

God comes first in everything I do. I’m dedicated to serving Him with my whole life. Coin collecting is just a hobby—but even in that, I seek to honor Him. ✝️
