Jack Copeland Royalty Coins

A coin dealer buddy asked me if I heard that Jack Copeland had passed away. I answered no. Can anyone here confirm this or otherwise?
Thanks.

I called Royalty Coins and Jack's longtime associate/employee confirmed that Jack had passed away last Wednesday (6/25). He had been in good health but contracted some rare bug and died within a week? He was 77.
I went to my first Long Beach coin show in June 1980. I was 20 years old and Jack (nor anyone else) knew me.
Jack was easygoing and let me try and sell certain coins of his to other show dealers. I made some sales and some money in the process. I thought, "this is cool!" Jack definitely made a positive impression on me. Over the years I would remind him of that first encounter. He probably just filed it away and said, " Uh huh." and continue to look at coins. He was always on the hunt when I saw him at shows.
Rest In Peace, Jack. You'll certainly be missed.

That’s very sad news. I met Jack more than 40 years ago and ran into him frequently at shows. It was rare to see him doing something other than looking through boxes of coins. He was a tireless worker, though I’m sure he didn’t consider dealing in coins to be work.

My condolences and prayers go out to Jack’s loved ones and friends.

I too had known Jack for upwards of 40 years. Always a gentleman, and usually saw him going through a box of coins.

    I will greatly miss him.

He wasn't looking great the last time I saw him, but he was the same ol' Jack.

I set up next to him multiple times at a local Texas show. Tough to be next to a master with a phat wallet. But he was always easy to deal with, and loved to say that the seller was in "the catbird seat!"

    Will be missed.

Wow. I know he had been taking care of his wife not long back and missed a few shows. Gonna miss him as a fixture at the shows and his mantra about the price on the slab. Hope Roland will land okay now.
