Coin Identification

I found another can of coins today, here's two pics front and back. My Grandmothers brother got these while travelling the world in the service in the 40s/50's. I tried finding these on the internet but didn't see anything. I'd like to know what they are and where they are from and possibly a rough guess as to a value. This can is full of strange coins (to me), there's about 50 or so. Thanks.

Did you try Google Goggles or something similar. They are very good at pulling up common coins like that.

Looks like Denmark, Greece, and Sweden or Norway. I must be blind! Sorry I did not see the second post before posting. I hate it when late posters answer a question already answered and now I am one of them :(

I tried but with not much verbage I wasn't sure what to search. I did see an app that you can take pics and it does a search.

Yes, I'm taking about the image search function

  • I tried one app but it messed up my phone and took me days to get it back like I had it, it changed settings, etc. I don't remember the name of it. Do you have a recommendation of a good one?

    I think @jmlanzaf is referring to https://images.google.com/

    No app required.

  • Oh yes, image search, I didn't think of that. Thanks.

Yes. It's very helpful. This past Saturday, a dealer friend was struggling with a coin. He had Sorrento a lot of time and asked if I had any idea. I said "Central Asia but too many options. "

I did an image search, it came up with "1882 Kutch trambiyo". [It's an Indian princely state. ] It had the year and state right but it was off in the denomination because it couldn't tell the size but we found it in 30 seconds in Krause.
