1850 Large Cent- Is this a known counterstamp?

I got this at the B&M yesterday. It appears to be counterstamped with the words 'GLOBE WORKS'. It appears a single logo punch was used, as some of the letters are not completely visible in the shallow parts of the design (the E in GLOBE and the S in WORKS, for example) and all the letters are of equal depth.
I did some research, and was only able to come up with a british company with that name founded in 1853.
Does anyone recognize this counterstamp? Thanks in advance!

Brunk attributes this counterstamp to the Globe Locomotive Works- a manufacturer of locomotive steam engines located in South Boston. Another source states this firm was founded in 1846 and operated as Globe Works from 1849-1851.
There are a couple examples in the Stacks archives which also states that the Directory of American Tool Makers lists Globe Works as a manufacturer of plane irons located in Auburn, New York.
It's a nice piece! Don't clean it! Circulated Counterstamps always look better with dirt and crud anyway. Makes them pop. Nice, original early coppers are getting scarcer every day.
Thank you @TheRegulator ! Don't worry- I have no intention of messing with it
Is unusual though the "S" was dropped from "Works." Would be a more balanced design to include--5 letters each line....
It is there, just hard to see. Since all the letters were from the same punch, it made it hard to imprint the last letters due to the central device making the surface uneven.
