I have saved coins for 75 years. The two oldest are Morgan Silver Dollars
One is an 1882 and the other a 1900o (I believe DM).
I think they are Special and should be valuable
Any thoughts /opinions are appreciated,

This is the 1900o (DM I believe)
What does "DM" mean, in your terminology?
Sorry, no.
Accumulated? From your pics it seems that both coins have been cleaned/polished. The 1882 is a $35 dollar coin and the 1900 is probably $30. It's unfortunate that someone in the past messed with them both. The reason you think the 1900 is DM is due to the polishing. It didn't leave the mint looking like that. What else did you save?
The good thing is that they are still both silver and that is where the value lays today.
A single good pic of both sides of a coin is normally all we need to see. Your pics are just fine. Welcome to the forum and stay and learn.

Wow, you're a super saver.
Just think, when you created your account 5 years ago, you had only been saving for 70 years.
Both coins and all of the old coin s that I saved have been in a youth's wooden chest of drawers and haven't seen the
light of day since.... washed with soap and water, towel dried and put in baseball card sleeves. (I Saved a draw full).
you may not have polished them, but someone did before you got them. it was common enough
Also, instead of what look like scope images, a pic from a regular camera(like your phone) might be better to see the whole coin.
Morgan Dollars are actually very common. Coins that have been cleaned like the one's you show still have silver bullion value but not much more.
I assume Deep Mirror from the polishing.

Rc5280...I did hold the 'scope' in the air and took the full coin pictures that way.
PerryHall... I was told as a kid that it was a Dark Matte background, (that it was normal), and don't try to shine it with Brillo.

Welcome to the Forum! As others have already indicated, your two Morgan Dollars look to be cleaned or polished XF to AU coins... still worth silver content though. These days, with silver hovering around $33/oz and there's about 3/4 oz of Ag there... for each coin...
My advice... stick around and learn. There's a wealth of information on this forum... happy collecting!

Yeah, I can tell.
Washed with soap and water and towel dried= cleaned.
But did he clean behind Morgan’s ears? 😉
actually, not usually. Cleaned usually implies more than a wash.
The amount of saving in this thread cannot be overstated.
When I hear "towel dried" i think of someone rubbing it with a towel, that's probably gonna leave hairlines.
