After or before mint error? 1985 d penny

I've tried searching but can't find much on type error. Need help

    This looks like a misaligned die,
    where the obverse die was too high, relative to the blank planchet, when the dies came together for the strike,
    so IN GOD WE TRUST is partly in the raised rim, instead of its usual location below the rim.

    It happened at the mint.
    It is a minor error, so not valuable, but still interesting to look at.

    Not a misaligned die. A MAD would not run into the letters as the
    spacing remains constant between the rim and letters.
    What you have is called a ridge ring caused by a deteriorating die.
    This is not considered an error.
