Interesting token...Restruck, I've not seen one like this

Not a token collector, but this Denver Rock Drill Mfg. Co. Workman and Tool Check Token has been ground down and Restruck with the workman's check # changed from 12 to 9. Have never seen this before. Interesting to me. I would assume hole was a mandatory need to hang on the board with hooks, nails, wire stubs or posts. Anyone have one not reused in readable condition?

Thats really cool! I'm not into collecting this kind of exonumia, but I like the token.

I think maybe it was just worn down from use, rather than being "ground down".

I just noticed 9 overstamped above the 12 and the center gouged out in places. But as I said, I've not seen one before so I'll bow to your lknowledge of such things.
I actually looked to buy one much like yours but it had a leather thong and ribbon yhrough the slot. It was a little pricey plus didn't want a leather band on it.
