Lincoln Cent Folks, Looking For Guidance On These Three

So,quick back story is that I picked up a decent collection over the weekend, A lot of circ 90% stuff in old Whitman folders. There was some stink to them as they have been stored for years.
In one of the Lincoln folders there was a 1914-D... looked good. As I was sorting thru other misc bags of coins tonight, I happened to run across another. I believe both to be genuine but you are the expert here!
Haven't looked at every cent but every now and again if I saw something a little more worn I would grab the loupe and check the date. It appears to be a 1922 but I can't see any D at all.


I have tried to get decent pics but I understand if you can't tell by what I provide. Just hoping for the best on that one!

    Sorry, not sure why those didn't come out in order. I questioned the placement of he D on that 2nd 1914-D.

    Is there a VDB on the shoulder of the 1914 - D? The 1922 looks ok to me, but I'm not an expert.

    I think I see a "D" on the 1922. Damaged by circulation but still there.

    For the 1914-D cents, as pcgsregistrycollecter writes, look under the shoulder for a VDB. Real 14-Ds won't have it since the initials don't appear in that location until 1918.

    It looks like a D with a scratch through it, to me.

    No, neither of the 1914's have the vdb. While neither are in great shape, was still happy to find them!

    Would be very helpful to see the entire obverse of the 1922, as there are markers to look for. I am of the opinion that it is not the No D variety, as another reply mentioned it looks like there are traces of the mintmark visible through the heavy circulation.

    The 1914-D cents both look good to my eyes, neither are altered 1944-D cents. Again it would be helpful to have full obverse photos to better determine the mintmark style and location, but I think you have a couple of winners there.

    Hard to tell from those pictures but the 1922 looks like somebody tried to remove the mint mark.

    Also have what I believe to be a 22 weak D ...strong reverse maybe??

    I would be skeptical. The pictures are hard to tell though. Maybe post a close-up of the date and mint mark combo?

    you'd need to post close-ups of the date-mm that aren't as close as those. not nearly so
