Selling my PCGS collection

Have a need to sell everything. I have the pdf list, about 400 items. Would like to sell in one lot. A few NGC too.

Not knowing the contents other than the representative samples provided, I’d guess it should be offered to a larger firm with deep pockets and resources, like Heritage, who can pay cash for large holdings and has the markets for diverse items.
@MFeld could provide some guidance if this is something you’d consider.

  • I have reached out to Heritage as I bought many from them. That is a valid option. Thanks!

I once tried selling a whole collection and buyers want to cherry pick for their collections while dealers want to flip coins they can dispose of with minimal effort, so it's a good idea to find someone who can and will find a market for all your coins not just the most desirable pieces.

@CommemDude summed things up nicely. Selling retail to collectors will get you cherry-picked, selling wholesale to dealers will move everything out but probably at much less than you'd want.

    Good luck.
