1908 2.5 indian grade?

Could this still qualify as a ms64 with that scratch on top?

AU58 although it wouldn't surprise me if one of the major grading services gave it an MS grade.

I don't believe the coin is an AU. The lack of detail at the top of the wing on the reverse is like that because the original dies used had no detail there. As for the actual grade who knows? The images are way overexposed.

Based on the images provided my grade guess would be MS62.

That scratch at 12:00 may be something on the planchet before striking. It didn't disturb the letter "R" like a post mint scratch could have.

58/62 but photos too overexposed to tell. Would need to see the rub on an angle to determine wear vs weakness.

When I first looked at the ”scratch”, it didn’t appear to be that of a scratch. As @thebeav stated earlier, it could be something on the planchet before striking as it didn’t disturb the lettering. Die gouges or planchet defect look more plausible IMO. So MS63
