Coin and Collectibles Fair does not fool around with folks that steal…

The uniformed armed guards and undercover agents will catch you. You will then be taken on a walk of shame through the bourse and given a free ride plus an overnight stay at the local house of detention!

Is”house of detention” an expression known/used outside of the NYC area?

Makes a nice gif loop.....especially the final push by the security officer. 😅

I don't see her as a coin collecting hobbyist.

You can still watch it through the platform.

Was she actually charged and detained or simply asked to leave?

Simon and Garfunkel used the term. Dow by the schoolyard. :)

No facebook account here either. You can click the link and still watch the video, which I suggest you do. The sound alone makes it worthwhile.

It’s asking me to sign in to my late wife’s Facebook account, without giving me the ability to watch it.

    But that’s ok.

Steve, I think that if you click the x on the upper right hand of the login request window, you’ll be able to view the video without logging in. For sound, you might need to unmute it, which, for me, is on the lower right portion of the video window.
At least that’s how it is available on my phone.
    Thanks

Thanks, but the screen it brings me to has no “x”. It’s only some type of Facebook sign in screen. No big deal.

After watching the video, it seems that:

The OP or video does not state what crime the woman ALLEGEDLY committed. Nor is there any indication actual law enforcement was involved. There was no statement of what she was charged with, what the evidence against her was, or why she was escorted out.

Until such evidence is produced, the law is clear the woman is innocent.

I don't see handcuffs, but could be a nice zip tie cuff. ☺️

My guess is that your device still has a "cookie" from a past log-in to Facebook. If you cleared your internet cookies/files (history) then this issue would probably go away. It might help with other sites, as well.

  • MsMorrisineMsMorrisine Posts: 35,133 ✭✭✭✭✭

noneed to clear cookies for everything. you can do it for one site. but the audio isn't spectacular

now, learning to delete cookies for 1 site you might find useful in the future

Thank you both. I agree for this, it’s not worth it to me to clear all cookies. As far as clearing it just for that one site, I’m not tech savvy. When my grandkids talk to me about apps, I think they’re talking about appetizers, lol.

The sign in screen should have an X in the upper right hand corner. Click on it to close the sign in screen and watch the video. Even my 300 YO abacus running Windows 7 shows that and I'm not tech savvy either.

My iPad is NOT showing any “X” anywhere on the screen. No tech knowledge is needed to allow my eyes to work.

It's a fine balancing act between what your instincts are telling you and proper legal procedures. False arrest can be a very expensive mistake as well. Personally on higher risk situations security should have full right to go up to suspicious characters who have no intention of following the rules and ask them to leave. Numismatics is a knowledge intensive field, we also have a lot of precious metals buyers and sellers mixed in which complicates things.

It's a real bill surrounding cut paper (probably).
