eBay survey, an opportunity to complain about them ignoring counterfeit coin reports

Just got a request from eBay to answer a survey and I did so, blasting them every chance I got for ignoring reports of counterfeit coins.
If you get the survey, I request that you answer it and do the same.

I can only hope it isn't AI generated, AI read, followed by AI trash folder.

Reporting counterfeits impairs the bottom line. If the "Prime Directive" is to make money, then I rather doubt we'll see any movement on counterfeit coins. Where I do see some place to make inroads is in counterfeit coins in counterfeit slabs... now there's another entity (PCGS, CAC, NGC, etc...) that stands to incur a financial loss (through fraud and damage to reputation) if ebay continues with their current policy.

I'd think they would take "Captain Henway's" and Mark Feld's reports quite seriously.
Yes and no. It has an obvious first order effect of reducing revenue from said counterfeit coins. However, if there's a second order effect where sellers or buyers do less business on eBay because of the presence of counterfeits, that might not be something they see directly, but it could be worth more than the revenue lost when cleaning up the coin category. Whether eBay would ever admit that is a completely separate question.
Eventually, key coins will not be purchased raw, but that will not help the counterfeit slabs containing the counterfeits nor non key raw coins, which the counterfeiters are quickly reproducing. Not many are noticing, nor searching for them, but I feel they are there. I have noticed ETSY, for a large part notes many of the fakes as reproductions which at least even a beginner should not be fooled. But then greed drives the buyers hoping for a cherrypick, I suppose.

I like to send them from the "tell us what you think" so I mention all the bogus coins. Never heard bank but that's ok 👍

How do you know eBay is ignoring reports of counterfeit coins?? There have been plenty of threads in the past where stuff was reported and acted upon.

Love you, eBay. Keep up the good work.
The cynic in me tends to think that no matter how many of us might get the survey and respond likewise that ebay will simply ignore those comments, just as they ignore reports of counterfeit coinage.

Besides the dozens of times that I have reported counterfeits, giving reasons why they are counterfeits, and I get back the form letter that says they found nothing wrong?
agreed.

Over the course of the past few months, I don’t recall having a single successful counterfeit report result among the many I’ve submitted. Most of them were for blatant counterfeits, yet in each case, either AI or the “agent” rejected my report. For whatever reason(s), things have changed for the (much) worse. The current reporting system is a farce.
