Coin Money competing with another Hobby

Cougar1978Cougar1978 Posts: 9,771 ✭✭✭✭✭
Hypothetical Situation:

Your disposable income for coins is $1000 a month. You have another hobby you really enjoy but it is not an investment. It could be travel, boating, adult entertainment, sugar baby, auto mods, etc. Once this money is spent on the other hobby, it is gone forever. Use your imagination. What percentage of the $1000 would you allocate to the other hobby with the balance being spent on coins. Or would just spend it all on coins and any left over on good dining and drink.

    I am CRYING 🤣🤣🤣🤣

I guess to answer the question, I'd spend half on coins...and with the other half, maybe take my "sugar baby" to dinner.....twice?

asking about dollar allocation on a coin forum? and some of those suggestions would not have people admitting to on the forum. I'll just call mine thoroughbreds

It's really insufficient though, I feel like I'm not paying the proper amount of respect.

How does one assemble the Beatles' Greatest Hits? They're almost all #1 songs!

Well, you've managed to put together Cougar's "Abbey Road Medley", in any case. ;)

If I had a disposable rack each month… $750 would go towards coins or saving for bigger ticket coins. The other $250 would be split between my sugar, my vinyl record collection, and old Camaro parts.

This thread didn't get the attention that it deserved the first time around and so I decided to resurrect it.

I concur, a sincere topic that was completely ignored by the 2015 census. Rude….😅
