Kudos to Noah at Rarity7

I’m getting ready to ship some coins to my photographer, and there was one coin I could not find. After a while with no success, I decided to email the dealer from whom I bought the coin at the end of March, to have him email me the tracking number, so I could then know for sure it was sent to me at the correct address, and that I actually signed for it.
Considering it’s the weekend, I figured I would not hear back until Monday. Lo and behold, I received an email from Noah @rarity7 literally within minutes of my email being sent. He’s actually on a plane, mid flight, and he has wi-fi. He dug up the USPS Tracking #. Sure enough, I retrieved the USPS Proof of Delivery, and there is my signature.
Can you beat that type of service? On a weekend, and on a plane mid flight???
I then went back to search, and I found the coin two minutes later, lol. Silly me!

Steve, since you asked “Can you beat that type of service? On a weekend, and on a plane mid flight???”
I don’t understand why Noah didn’t just have the pilot change course and land the plane in front of your house. That way he could have rung your doorbell, greeted you and delivered your answer in a much more personal (albeit, slower) manner.

Noah is a good friend of mine. He is as upstanding and good of a person as there is in this world. Great coins, too!

Noah is also a good friend of mine as many of you know, and on top of being a genuinely great person, he is far more tech savvy than me and almost any other dealer I can think of. Using technology to his advantage will ultimately allow his business to grow into one of the industry's largest retailers. He's also got a great eye, but I wish I had even 10% of his tech capabilities, which would be about 10x my current tech "skillset".

Well that made the $8 In-flight WiFi purchase worthwhile!
Thanks for the kind words guys. Always happy to help if I can.

Welcome 🙂
I have had several good purchases and email exchanges with Noah! (Noah: that offer of dinner at Supper in the East Village still stands! John B ) @rarity7

This may be a sign that you have too many coins Steve. I'd be happy to help ease you of this horrible burden.
That is a really well spent $8 on advertising.
A moderately sized coin firm is looking for a new employee over at the CAC forum.
Perhaps Noah needs to consider this opportunity?
Why work for someone else when one has their own thriving business?
"Got a flaming heart, can't get my fill"
And he and his family are living in California. Good thought though. He's the kind of person they can use!

There are probably some worse personality conflicts (for example, someone like me working for Laura would be explosive) but I don't think that Noah and Laura would be a good long term fit.
But you are right...Laura absolutely could use someone like Noah. Good luck to her finding someone like that, willing to work for her.

I'd check under Steve's couch cushions first.
Reminds of a t-shirt I saw on a kid in my shop, one day. It read : “ Need an ark ? I Noah guy !”
Noah rocks! Are you planning to be at Concord this week, @rarity7. I have some goodies to pick up from John and hope to see you there.
Tim
I said "aha, a dealer whose website I haven't bookmarked" (in my search for capped bust half dimes). So I pulled up rarity7.com and lo and behold, the very first coin on the list is an 1832 baby busty! I didn't need that particular marriage (and truth be told, 66+ is a little out of my set range) but it was nice to see. That coin, and a few of his sold half dimes, looked familiar so I guess I've seen them posted on other sites, maybe eBay or whatnot. But I always prefer to go right to the source, especially when the source comes with such glowing recommendations!

You referring to Laura Sperber?
He is.
Coin Photographer, ANA Heath Literary Award Winner.
I do appreciate Laura! She knows SO much about the industry - it's always a joy to talk to her and hear what she has to say (about everything). Although I've only met her a handful of times in person, I've found her to be very honest, unfiltered, and direct in what she has to say about coins & people.
But yeah, not going anywhere in the long foreseeable future

I do have everything from our site posted on eBay (at eBay-inflated prices), so that's probably where you've seen stuff.
