I have this one posted on my persoanl FB page as well as another coin forum. I have reported it 3 times and each time eBay finds no violation. Friends have reported it multiple times with the same result. Seems to be nothing can be done- too bad for the "winner"...

I contacted the President of the Anti-Counterfeiting Educational Foundation but not sure anything can actually be done...

eBay makes money if you sell a real coin or a fake coin. SO why would they care?. Bottom line is profit to them. Reporting fakes is a waste of time now.
We appreciate the reporting on this forum. Some of us (Me), need constant reminders. But most of the fakes reported on this forum are new, so keep up the effort. I for one appreciate it!

Look at it this way, legitimate sellers are taken advantage of frequently due to the SNAD policy, it's really easy to get your $ back. So any buyer naive enough to buy such illegitimate items as this and not inspect it to verify it on receipt or not demand a return should be happy with what they've got. EBAY is NOT a coin auctioneer/expert like Heritage for example. It's always buyer beware there.
I am not sure if they are considered a broker or internet platform. Many dollars of coins pass there. They also do not like people saying 'bad things' about them.
