1921 S Walking Liberty Half Dollar GTG

I think it would grade G06, you opinions?

6 or 8
Details and rims close to or at VG 8, but the obverse looks like it may have been scuffed at some point.
VG8 Details, ED (erectile dysfunction, on the erect part of LIberty's leg.) Or maybe that's environmental damage.

I am the worst grader of walking liberty half dollars. G06 is my opinion.
G6. I think the black crud is just paper envelope toning not damage
I think its a VG-8. If the hairlines are light on the obverse, then they are not really distracting. If the dark toning on the obverse is paper toning, then not much of a negative.
If paper toning, would an acetone soak remove it or not?

I do believe that G06 would be the grade, should it straight grade. But as an album coin, that would not be an issue.

Depending on one’s budget and personal preferences, it’s of course totally fine to collect coins in albums that wouldn’t grade.
However, I think a lot of “album collectors” are assembling coins that are problem free and very attractive for whatever their target grade range. Regarding the coin in question, I think it is technically G06 or even close to VG08, but the photo makes it looked scuffed to the point of not being an attractive example for the grade(and it probably wouldn’t grade if it were submitted)
Details VG.

I agree, collecting for my WLH album I wanted the early dates to have that dirty original look, even if a low grade. And it was actually easy to find them, don't think dealers dipped them as much as the Morgan series.
G06
G maybe VG, but I don’t think it would straight grade.
